Update!

I guess its time to update the ole blog....
Sometimes I think it would be fun to write my life as a play. You know, with a cast of characters and a play based of my daily routine of life. There's so many people though that I wouldn't even know where to start. Maybe I'll try anyways.

Friends

A friend is someone who is always there for you.Even when you feel like the whole world is against you, a friend is someone who is still on your side.A friend is someone who you can call in the middle of the night about anything and they'll listen. They're the one who can make you laugh anytime. When you're sad, they make you smile. They've always got your back. They give the best hugs, or sometimes all it takes is them just putting their arm around you.A friend is someone who wants you to be the best you can be, and will never let you give up. A friend is someone who you couldn't stay mad at, even if you wanted to.They never run out of second chances.A friend is the one you tell all of your secrets because they're the best secret keepers. You would do anything for a friend because you know they would do anything for you.
They're someone you can talk to about anything.
A friend is someone who makes you a better person, just because you know them.

I probably have the best
friends in the entire world.

Ironic

I signed up for the Jedi Council Club at school today, even though I've never seen Star Wars before.
Go figure.

Senior Sunrise :)

Being a Senior has its perks. For example, what other grade gets to wake up at 6:30 to go stand on wet grass and shiver while eating donuts and drinking chocolate milk, only to realize that the sun is actually rising on the other side of the school so we can't even see it? Nobody! That's the kind of privilege one recieves only after surviving 12 years of school.

But, despite the coldness, it was a really fun morning. Our small group huddled in blankets grew and shrunk throughout the entirety of the morning, and was of course only complete when we all burst into song. We were surprisingly in tune for such an early hour.

The best part of the morning was when we went to the other side of the school and actually got to see the sun rising on the mountain. The light was just creeping along the canyon so perfectly and we all yelled, "It's the Senior sunrise!" Yes, this is why we came. To be with friends and see the beautiful sunrise.

Uh...Senior year?

First I would like to begin this post by saying that I am truly frustrated right now. I just tried about 20 times to get the title of the previous post to be centered, but it won't let me do it!

Oh well.

Anyways, all of a sudden summer is over and I'm a Senior! As in..graduating this year. As in...getting ready for college and being an adult and...all that. It's a lot of stress to have to think about all these decisions I've got to make. But for the moment, I am content and not thinking about anything except living life the best I can. So far, Senior year has been good. I feel like I actually want to learn to learn, not just to play the rules of school. Doing my homework hasn't even been a problem. I don't know how long that feeling will last, but I hope it sticks around, for a while at least. :)

Band Camp

So band camp started this week. I really
thought it would kill me. But actually... it's pretty great. 13 hours of music
every day. How can that be bad? And it really is just like a camp you would go
to like EFY or Drama Camp or something. There's a schedule, and instructors;
friends, and fun times. Not to mention the non stop laughing. It is only day
three though, so I'll keep you posted.

Chapter 1: In which Penelope and Barbara have made a very important discovery

And so it was that Penelope and Barbara could no longer find the need to poof. But that did not stop them from keeping up with Poof Theory. If they continued writing down their joyous kid-like, magnificent adventures, maybe they would never need to poof. You may be questioning where I'm going with this statement, but really, by evermore writing it down, at any time they could simply be reminded of how excellent and wonderful life really is, and the theory of poof would no longer be necessary. Hello Blog...We Meet Again...

Barbara.

I have a proposition.

This may alter years of poof theory research, sending us spiraling backwards to a rather neanderthal view of the world's poofability.

But...

Maybe we shouldn't poof anytime soon.

We have too [not to] many adventures to live for.

:)

Alaska

Let me tell you about Alaska.
It's cold.
But it's okay.
Because:

Their high school is called Service High School.
A few streets away from the school is a blue house.
I'm going to live there.
A few streets away from that is a street called Jupiter.
Ty is going to live there.
And he's going to play Jupiter.
On Jupiter street.
If there's a blue house on Jupiter street, maybe we will be neighbors.
Then there's bike paths.
Everywhere.
And everybody has a dog.
And they walk their dogs on these paths.
Meili is going to take advantage of that.
Then, there's a beach.
McKay is going to love that.
If we build a lighthouse, then Kason will come.
There's a place downtown where bands can come and play.
Maybe
Passing Faces will be their next performers.
This would surely bring Curtis.

The farmers market here has a plethora of bananas for James.
Banana
?
As for Heidi, the string of Harry Potter looking lampposts along the
paths will bring her to Alaska.
And maybe she'll discover that fishing runs in her blood.

Well, that's everyone from PF Season 1.

Summer 2011

This blog is relatively sad. Nobody updates it, and nobody reads it. Well, as I recently learned from a song, You can change! Therefore I am taking it upon myself to update this blog at least once a week. Maybe I'll have Penelope do the same. Either way, it's time for an update. 2011 may or may not be the best year of my life. I wrote a poem to express my feelings towards 2011.

2011, you are the best.

2011, better than the rest.

This poem is cheesy,

Cheese is greasy-

When put in a grilled cheese sandwich.

Anyways, hopefully I will be able to think of something better to write next time. But for now, hakuna matata. -B
